Maria Roxas is a professor at the Department of Accounting of Central
Connecticut State University. Prior to CCSU, she taught at the University
of Toronto for 4½ years. Maria received her Ph.D. in Business
Administration at the University of Georgia, her MBA from Pan American
University and her undergraduate degree from De La Salle University (Manila,
Philippines). She is a member of the American Accounting Association,
Institute of Management Accountants, and the Philippine Institute of
Certified Public Accountants.
Her teaching interests are in the areas of accounting information systems, cost/management accounting and international accounting. Her research interests are on ethics and culture, instructional development in AIS, risk assessment on electronic commerce. Her recent publications can be found in the Issues in Accounting Education and International Journal of Accounting. |
