Dr. Hans E. Klein, C.M.A.
President & Executive Director

   
Dr. Klein is the President & Executive Director of WACRA. He has edited 30 books on interactive, case-method based teaching and learning. He is editor-in-chief of IJCRA, The International Journal of Case Method Research & Application. He has and is conducting conferences, seminars and workshops in many countries and speaks frequently at international conferences on Management Education, Accounting and Business topics. He is a consultant to governments.

Born in Czechoslovakia, Dr. Klein was educated in Germany, France and in the United States. He has held top management positions in multi-national companies in Europe and in the United States. He speaks several languages. He graduated from the Banking Academy Germany with a degree in Banking and from the University of Kentucky (magna cum laude) with a MS in Accounting and a D.B.A. (Doctor of Business Administration). Dr. Klein is a Certified Management Accountant (C.M.A.). On the faculty of Universities in the United States and Europe, he has taught courses in Accounting, Finance and International Business.

His is a member of the Board of Directors of ECCH -The European Case Clearing House at Babson, Ltd., AAA - American Accounting Association, AIB - Academy of International Business, FMA - Financial Management Association, IMA - Institute of Management Accounting , Beta Alpha Psi, Beta Gamma Sigma, Delta Sigma Pi. He is listed in Who is Who in the World. He held positions at the Boston Chapter of the INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANTS for many years, last as Vice President for Administration & Finance.

Among his numerous publications are articles and books on planning and forecasting, the future of Management Education and on Innovative, Interactive Teaching and Learning Methodologies. His awards include the Bank Administration Institute Research Award (Long Range Planning in Commercial Banks) and the Wall Street Journal Award.
