Bavaria - Tyrol - Blackforest

The educational-cultural post conference tour will take participants to Southern Germany (Bavaria) and Tyrol, Baden-Württenberg, including Würzburg, the Romantic Road, the medevial, romantic town of Rothenburg ob der Tauber, one of the oldest towns on the Romantic Road, visitors are plunged into the atmosphere ot the 16 Century (overnight in Rothenburg ), the famous baroque cathedral of Neresheim, Dillingen a.d. Donau (site of one of the first Universities in Germany: 1548), Neuschwanstein (Ludwig II's Castle), Reutte in Tyrol (overnight), the German Alpine Road (Deutsche Alpenstrasse) through the Allgäu (one of the most beautiful areas in Germany, the foothills of the Alps), along the shores of Lake Constance (one of the inland-seas of Central Europe) to the old, picturesque town of Meersburg on the lake, Villingen-Schwenningen in the heart of the fabled Black Forest (overnight), Furtwangen, Black Forest, visit to the German Clock Museum, Triberg, Blackforest (manufacturing center for the world famous Cuckoo Clocks), Schenkenburg, Black Forest, Offenburg and back to Mannheim on the Rheintal Autobahn (German Motorway). Overnight at the Dorint Conference Hotel. Evening free. Tour ends.
