WACRA 2001 in Sweden - Denmark - Norway
Lund, known principaly as an education center, is home to over ten major
universities and colleges. It is located in Skane
Province, known for its scenic ocean front. A city of 90,000, Lund's
biggest attractions are the Domkyrka, built in the 11th
Century, and its many Museums. Among the most unique museums is the
open-air Viking Village in nearby Loddenkoping.
Lund will be the site of the 18th International WACRA (World Association
for Case Method Research & Application)
Conference.
As of July 2, 2000 Denmark and Sweden are joined by a bridge over the
Sound. The bridge is open to motorists and is also crossed by a frequent,
high-speed
train running from Copenhagen Railway Station (København H)
via Copenhagen Airport (CPH/Kastrup) to Malmö Central (railway) Station.
